산골소녀 향숙은 세계적인 골프선수가 되는 것이 꿈이다. 그녀는 벙어리 동생을 캐디로 삼아 매일같이 들녁에 나가 연습을 게을리 하지 않지만 주위의 시선은 차갑기만 하다.

그러던 어느날 동네에 골프장이 들어선다는 소문이 돌고, 향숙은 가슴이 설레인다.

Hyang-suk living in the countryside wants to be a world famous golf player. She makes her deaf brother caddie and exercises every day with her brother. However, neighbors cast cold eyes on Hyang-suk.
One day there is a rumor going around that a golf course will be set up in her village. So Hyang-suk flutters in anticipation.

이 이야기 속에는 나와 나의 슬픈 가족이 있다. 유년의 눈물자국을 닦아내며, 오래된 빚을 청산하는 마음으로 이 영화를 만들었고, 영화를 찍는 동안 나는 내내 아팠다. 나와 동행해준 스텝들에게 감사한다.

There is me and my poor family in this drama. Looking back on my childhood, I wiped away all traces of tears from bad memories. I made this film for the purpose of paying back old debts which had been in my mind from childhood. While shooting this film, from the beginning to the end, I felt sick at heart.
