종원은 자신을 어린 아이로만 보는 세상이 못마땅한 꼬마이다.

어느날, 자신이 좋아하는 선생님에게 키큰 남자친구가 있음을 우연히 알게되면서 키가 크려는 종원의 노력이 시작된다. 그러나 실행에 옮길 수 있는 방법은 없고, 비가 와야 키가 큰다는데 하늘마저 도와주지 않는다. 엄마의 눈엔 종원의 고민이 의젓해진 아들로 보이고, "장가가도 되겠다"는 엄마의 말에 힘을 얻은 종원은 선생님에게 청혼의 편지를 쓰게 된다.

편지를 꼭 쥐고 선생님에게 달려가는 길, 그토록 기다리던 비가 내리고...

JongWons is displeased with people who treat him as a child.He loves his teacher, he meets her tall boy friend by chance. He begins to try to be taller, but there is no way he can put the idea into practice.
He needs rain to be taller, it is too clear far from rain. JongWon's mom regards him as been dignified, he writes teacher a love letter by the aid of what mom says "You can marry."
On his way to her with the letter, at last it begins rain...!

쉽고 즐겁고 경쾌한 영화, 어린 날을 재료로 그런 이야기를 하고 싶었고 그 시절의 기억이 영화의 출발이었다.

그때나 지금이나, 나는 달라진 것이 없다고 느끼지만, 생각해보면 그때의 나는 어쩔수 없는 아이였다.

Enjoy of, funny, a right movie. I want to produce and direct a movie with a childhood story. I have wanted to make this type of movie from the time I was a child.
Many thing about my life have changed since I was a child.But the one constant had always been my desire to produce and direct movies.
