n Who Killed Jesus? sets in a London hospital on Christmas
Eve focusing on a young overworked psychiatrist and
his three tragicomic patients. The three delusional
Jesus Christs' lead the doctor on a journey reawakening
repressed feelings of guilt from a tortured childhood,
and as the psychiatrist becomes mentally unhinged the
distinction between patient and doctor is blurred leading
to a murder.
On one level a gripping, complex exploration of the
modern science of psychology challenged by the grand
narrative of Christian theology. And on another level,
a moving, yet mystifying, portrayal of the psychological
breakdown of a doctor who becomes a patient of Jesus.
As the disciplines of psychology and religion are challenged
reality becomes distorted and it's no longer clear if
Jesus was murdered or even died¡¦
