서로에게 속해 있으면서도 끊임없이 다른 무언가가 내 안에 들어오기를 희구하는 두 남녀에 관한 이야기이다. 조금은 헤매고 뒤척거리고 불편하고 진부하고 쓸쓸한 그들의 삶은 서로 헤어지자는 이야기에서부터 시작된다.

떨어져 있자고 말한 은숙이로 인해 괴로운 민수는 친구를 마나고, 술을 먹고 하루를 보낸다.

은숙은 민수가 아닌 자기가 좋아하는 상혁으로 인해 힘들어 하지만, 친구 미희가 상혁과 결혼하기로 한 사실을 알게되자, 마음속에 뭔가를 결심한 듯 하는데…

The movie is about man and a woman who love each other but constantly try to search something else from each other. It begins when the man breaks up with the woman. Their lives are monotonous, lonely and restless.

Min-su is depressed with Eun-suk who wants to leave him. He turns to his friend for consolation. Eun-suk is also depressed but it's because of another man, Sang-huk whom she loves. But she finds out her friend, Mee-hee is going to marry Sang-huk and plans something.

내가 가지고 있는 감정들의 언어를 찾으려고 했다. 시작할 땐 나에게는 아무것도 없었지만, 지금은 내가 가지고 있는 관심들, 가장 하고 싶어하는 문제들에 대해 눈꼽만큼이나마 관심을 가져볼 수 있는 조그마한 뭔가를 발견한 것 같다.

앞으로 내가 하기힘든 것, 끝까지 부딪혀보고 싶은 것, 어려운 질문들을 겁내지 않고 내안에 품어서 할 수 있으면 좋겠다.

I wanted to put my feelings into visual language. I had nothing when I started shooting this film but now I have the courage to take a step further into what I'm interested in.
In the future I hope to face the problems that I have pushed aside because of my fear.
