마지막 산수 시험시간 반 일등 전교 일등인 현도는 답을 쑥쑥 써 내려가다가, 이전엔 전혀 볼 수 없던 내용의 마지막 20번 문제를 보고 놀라버린다. 여러 가지 상상을 하다가 책상 속 전과를 살짝 꺼내 갈등을 하는 찰나 전과는 현도의 무릎으로 떨어지고 시험감독을 하는 선생님은 현도쪽으로 다가온다.

어쩔 수 없이 현도는 다리를 벌려 전과를 바닥에 떨어뜨리고 선생님은 자신을 지나쳐간다. 한숨을 돌렸지만 이제 어찌할 수 없는 상황. 조심스럽게 실내화와 양말을 벗고 전과를 넘기기 시작하는데...

The last exam of math, Hyun-do at the top of the school, was working out the questions without any problem, but suddenly the last question number 20 which he'd never seen so far shocked him. He imagined a lot of things he could, and on taking out the reference book on the desk with the complication, the book fell down on his knee, and teacher approaches to him. Inevitably Hyundo set his legs apart and dropped down the book on the floor, then the teacher passed by. He feels relief but the situation is inevitable. He carefully took off the slippers and socks then started leafing through the reference book…

언제나 1등만 하는 한 아이의 모르는 시험 문제에 대한 갈등과 아이의 심리, 그에 따른 커닝의 시도, 커닝을 할 수밖에 없는 상황 등을 보여 줌으로써 정해진 시간과 공간 내에서의 스릴감을 관객들로 하여금 느끼게 하는 영화이다. 그러면서 우리 나라에 만연해 있는 1등 제일주의와 교육자의 아이들에 대한 차별 등을 이야기 하고자 한다. 또한 관객으로 하여금 자신의 어렸을 적을 회상하고 추억에 잠기게끔 하는 역할도 하리라 본다.

This film is my self-portrait. While, In my film, I intended to reflect the elitism and discrimination in this society, I supposed that you might have a thrill from the fixed time and space through this film. And I hope you recollect your past and remember your memory.
