거리에서 마임을 하는 한철. 어느날 공연이 끝나고 공원 벤취에서 분장을 지우던 그는, 같은 동네 사는 소년이 지갑을 훔치는 것을 보게 된다. 소년을 붙잡으려 하지만 오히려 소년의 칼에 찔리는 한철. 착잡한 마음으로 동네에 되돌아온 그는 다시 소년을 보게 된다.

소년은 마임 분장을 지운 그를 알아보지 못한다. 호기심에 소년의 집까지 뒤따라간 한철. 그는 거기에서 자신의 어린시절을 어렴풋하게 느끼게 된다.

Hanchul shows mime on the street for living. One day, when he is removing his makeup after the performance, he happens to see his neighbor boy steal a wallet. Hanchul tries to seize the boy, but he is hurt by the boy's knife. Returning home with depressed, Hanchul meets the boy again. But the boy can't notice him because he has no makeup. Hanchul traces to the boy's house with some curiosity, and there he meets to his own childhood.

가끔씩 잊고 살아가는 게 있다. 아름답게 기억하든 그 반대이든 누구나 어린시절을 기억하고 있다고 믿는다. 하지만 바로 우리의 이웃집 소년, 소녀가 우리자신의 과거라는 것은 아무도 알지 못한다. 그들이 우리의 과거라면 우리는 그들의 미래가 될 수 있을까?

We sometime forget something in our lives. It may be a good memory or a bad one, and everyone believes that he or she remembers the childhood. But nobody knows that our neighbor boys and girls are ourselves' past. and then supposing they are our past, could we become their future?
