서영, 선주, 민희는 오래전부터 알고지내온 친구들임에도, 그들 각자의 삶에 치여 자주 만나지는 못한다.그들이 서로서로를 만날 때, 그들의 화제거리는 또 다른 한 친구에 대한 좋지 않은 얘기들이다.

서영의 생일을 계기로 한자리에 모이게 된 세친구는 일견 즐거워 보이지만, 서로에 대해 편치 않은 감정을 갖고 있다.마침내 그들은 서로의 위선에 질려서 자리를 뜬다.

Although SeoYoung, SunJoo and MinHee are old friends, they are so occupied with themselves that they don't get to see each other often. They meet after a long time but the get-together doesn't seem to be all that gay. Their conversation always centers on gossiping about a mutual friend who is not present. Fed up with the hypocrisy, they distance away from each other.

일상이 되어버린 작은 배반들, 그래서 우스꽝스럽지만 동시에 애처로운 인생의 모습들, 또 동기를 알 수 없는 모호한 행동들에 대해 그려보고 싶었다. 대사가 많지만, 대사 자체가 중요하다기 보다는 그 사이의 pause에서 감지되는 긴장감의 힘으로 표현해보고 싶었다.

This film portrays life's little betrayals that have become common place which make it both silly and sad; as well as ambiguous behaviors that lack any definite motives. Even though the film itself appears to be somewhat verbose, the portrayals are expressed by the force of the tension perceived in the pauses between the words.
